✈ Bucket list! - Swimming with dolphins

To be honest this was not one of my big dreams, because usually they take advantage of it. It's really expensive for only a few minutes of swimming with the dolphins. Also, there are complaints of mistreating the animals... but when the organisation I travelled to Cuba with assured me that this was not the case here I decided to do it! I really enjoyed it! It's true that in the end you don't spend so much time with the dolphins, but the feeling after is amazing! :-)

♣ Scrapbook - Check it out!

Here another Polyvore scrapbook. You can find the selling points on my profile. Some of these items have a price tag way out of my league, but we can dream once in a while. :) Love the bag!!

 I care for my hair...

Today I'd like to talk you about the hair products I use. Like most of use I swear by the Holy Trinity, that is: shampoo, conditioner and a hair mask. Even though they are a bit more expensive I always try to use professional hair care products, as I heard a lot about the negative features of supermarket products. My hair is very fragile so I don't mind spending a bit more on taking care of it.

For the moment I'm using the shampoo and the hair mask containing argan oil from Osmo. I wash my hair every two days applying shampoo as well as conditioner. Once a week I also use a hair mask. If possible I apply the hair mask on moist hair before going to sleep, the morning after I rince it out and wash my hair (tip from my hairdresser). I've this great cap that I use so my sheets wont get dirty.

When wearing this I look like a smurf, but at least it keeps my sheets clean ;-)

Berber oil mask from Osmo

Once in a while I also use this detox shampoo from Osmo (damn, too much Osmo in this post...). This shampoo removes all hair products in your hair, but you shouldn't use it on a daily basis.

Detox for the hair

As I've really thin hair it gets tangled very easily. That's why I use this one after washing it.

Before drying my hair I'm applying Elnett spray from l'Oréal to protect my hair against the heat from hairdryers and straightener (yes.. I can't live without..)

The tips of my hair get extra protection, so they wont split to easily. One of my goals this year is to grow my hair really long, so I need to prevent them from splitting as long as possible.

Protecting oil from Wella

Finally I'm using an ionic hair dryer from Babyliss and also an ionic straightener from Philips. This prevents static hair as much as possible. I wish I could do without the straightener, but my hair is not so easy to tame.

A while back my mother also gave me this ionic brush from Braun that should also keep your hair tamed. It looks very futuristic when switched on. It makes a kind of buzzing sound and there's a green light.

That's it! :-) Hope you enjoyed it! You might also like to read the post about my daily make-up and beauty.

♣ Karen Millen coat

I'm starting off this week with an amazing jacket that is way too expensive for me right now, but I'd like to share it with you. Uff, where's the ice cream?

♣ Brazil, nana-nana-na-Nah!

In about one month I'll be going to Brasil for two weeks to celebrate carnival... so excited. Together with a friend we booked the flight and now we're handling the logistics (hostels, buses etc.) for the trip. It's the first time I'm doing this by myself and it takes a lot of planning, but I'm so excited. A while ago I stumbled upon this bundle of the New York Times weekend getaways. This is the Latin America version... love it!

Besides I also bought myself a notebook at Dille & Kamille for my travel notes and of course a mask. I'm so ready for it!

A few days ago I went with my little cousin to amusement park Efteling in Kaatsheuvel (Netherlands). Here some photos from the day we spent there. :-)

✈ Don't accept money from strangers... accept it from 'Los reyes magos' ;-)

Hi guys! I took some time off in the past week, but I'm back. As today we celebrate the 'Three Kings' I've a special post about that for you. In Spain this day is very special because the Three Kings or 'Los reyes magos'  bring gifts to the children. There are celebrations and parades all over the city.

When I was on Erasmus in Barcelona (already three years ago :( ... gosh, I'm getting old!) I had the chance to go to one of those parades. Of course I was eager to bring my camera, but as we planned to go out later I decided to take my crappy one... which died that evening... RIP. Nonetheless I shot some pretty interesting pictures, a bit psychedelic, but I kinda like it.

This is a ballet-dancing duck ;-)

This guy is getting ready to grab the candy...

It's a pity I've only these photos to show, but I can assure you it's definitely worth the while. :-)

Bye, bye! x.

 Happy Newyear to you!

I hope everyone celebrated well last night! I sure did! Enjoy this day with your family and friends. Have a good rest, so you can kick off the year in great health and well-rested of course. :-)

Woohoo, 2014
